July 11, 2011 BF3 System Requirements Unveiled

Maximum PC has the system requirements for the upcoming Battlefield 3. Apparently GameStop revealed them, but DICE hasn't confirmed them with an official announcement. It's 2011 and PC gaming has crossed into the 9th dimension. Does anyone really need to check the system requirements anymore? Gamers should know by now whether or not their rigs can handle the new generation of titles. Regardless:

Hard Drive Space: 15 GB for disc version or 10 GB for digital version OS: Windows Vista or Windows 7 Processor: Core 2 Duo @ 2.0GHzRAM2GB Video Card: DirectX 10 or 11 compatible Nvidia or AMD ATI card

Count me out. Unless someone wants to buy me Maximum PC's 2011 Dream Machine.

June 29, 2011 Crysis 2 Editor Now Released!

The Crysis 2 Editor is here! We're pleased to announce that today we are releasing the Crysis 2 Editor package which includes the all-new CryENGINE 3 Sandbox Editor, allowing you to create custom maps, mods and content for Crysis 2!
The package also includes various tools, such as FMOD Designer, Poly Bump, plugins for Maya and 3ds Max and more! We’ve also included some sample assets to help you discover the possibilities with the Crysis 2 Editor package.

June 3, 2011 Windows 8 - Official Preview

Seems Microsoft has been somewhat innovating after all.

I wonder what other changes are coming and what will be in the newer versions of Windows Server, SQL Server, Exchange, Sharepoint, and Visual Studio. Seems IE10 will finish off the HTML5 enhancements after all. C# 5 coming soon :).
