March 14, 2007 ModJive Released!

The countdown is finally over! We are pleased to present the first version of our new application for Battlefield mod fans, ModJive. Here's a description of the program as well as what mods/maps are currently involved in it:

ModJive is an application that allows users to view and download the latest available modifications for Battlefield 2 and Battlefield 2142. It will automatically install the mods and later update them for you when new versions are released. It is the essential companion for every Battlefield player!

With the release of ModJive right around the corner, we're now accepting mod submissions! Simply go to ModJive.com and click Submit Your Mod.

Remember, we have file servers at our disposal to host your files if needed.

Once you've submitted a mod, you will be contacted by Sir. Elxx and he will walk you through the rest of the process.

February 16, 2007 BattleDirector 1.6 Now Available.

Our very own Sir. Elxx is back today with the latest release of his very useful utility BattleDirector. For those of you unfamiliar with BattleDirector, below is a brief overview:

Description

BattleDirector is an application for Battlefield 2/2142 movie directors. It streamlines the movie making process by allowing filmmakers to go from BFR to AVI in simple steps. The simple GUI provides all the tools you need with one-click access.

What's New in 1.6?

  • Added support for multiple cam tracks for each BFR
  • Improved GameLogicInit.con backup/restore/repair
  • BattleDirector now hides itself when BF2 is running, to reduce memory usage
